PLEASE READ THIS PRIVACY POLICY CAREFULLY BEFORE USING THIS WEBSITE. Your continued use of the website, tools, tips and services available from this website constitutes your agreement to this policy and notice. We reserve the right, at our discretion, to change, modify, add or remove portions of these terms at any time. Please check these terms periodically for changes. Your Privacy
Cerulean is committed to maintaining the trust and confidence of visitors to our website. In particular, we adhere to the United States and European Union approved Code of Fair Practices and the US Department of Commerce’s Safe Harbor program. We are not in the business of selling, renting, distributing or otherwise sharing individuals’ personal data to other companies or organizations.

Personal information means any information that may be used to identify you, such as your name, title, phone number, e-mail address, mailing address, social security number and so forth.

Information Collection, Use and Sharing
In general, you can browse our website without giving us any personal information.

For web usage trends, we do collect two pieces of anonymous data:  the type of internet browser (Microsoft Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, etc.) used to access our website so that we can try to ensure the best display of the site possible to our various visitors; and then the national and geographic region from which access to our site originates so that we may further customize our site and the access bandwidth required to our visitors’ needs.

We do not tie specific visits to specific IP addresses, computer names or network domains. Nor do we collect internet cookies.

We are the sole owners of the information collected on this site. The only personal information we have access to is information you provide voluntarily either through e-mail, phone, form completion, or direct contact with you personally. We do not sell or rent this information to anyone. We do not knowingly solicit personal information beyond the information you voluntarily provide.

We may have to disclose your voluntarily provided personal information if required to do so by law or court action, in which case we will do so only if specifically asked and with the expectation that your information will be held in strict confidence by the government or other judicial party.

We will use information you have voluntarily provided to respond to you regarding the reason you contacted us. We will not share your information with any third party outside our organization other than as necessary to fulfill your request, e.g., to ship a press kit.

On occasion we may sub-contract such fulfillment requests to vendor companies such as FedEx, UPS, USPS, etc. to provide limited services on our behalf such as packaging, assembling, delivering items overnight, and sending postal mail. We may pass the address-related information you have voluntarily provided to these vendors for this limited fulfillment purpose only, and they are prohibited from using or distributing that information for any other purpose.

If you require further information on the vendor organizations to whom your voluntarily provided information may have been passed, please contact us.

Your Access To and Control Over Information
You may opt out of any future contact from us at any time. You can do the following at any time by contacting us via the phone number on our website, emailing our managing director or completing the contact form:

  1. see what information we have about you, if any — this may include both voluntarily provided information and information from public sources (such as the Wall Street Journal);
  2. have us correct any voluntarily provided information we have about you;
  3. have us delete any voluntarily provided information we have about you; and
  4. express any concern you have about our use of any information.

Links to Other Websites
Our website contains links to information on other websites. Be aware that when you are on the Cerulean website, you could be directed to other sites that are beyond our control. There are links to other sites from Cerulean pages that take you outside of our site. This includes links from content partners, affiliates or industry and professional associations. These other sites may send their own cookies to users, collect data, or solicit personal information. These links are provided as a convenience to you and as an additional avenue of access to the information contained therein. We have not necessarily reviewed all the privacy policies on those other sites and are not responsible for their actions and handling of personal information. We strongly encourage you to make investigations you believe appropriate before proceeding with any online or offline transaction with any of these third parties.

Security, Privacy and Accuracy of Information
We take precautions to protect the information you voluntarily provide us and make every effort to maintain it as accurately and up-to-date as possible. When you submit sensitive information via e-mail, phone, form completion, or other direct contact with us, your information is protected both online and offline. Only Cerulean personnel who need the information to perform a specific job (such as billing or customer service) are granted access to your provided information. The computer hardware and software in which we store such information is kept in a secured environment.

In the event that we decide to accept on-line transactions using sensitive data (such as gathering direct credit card information rather than using a payment processor), we will ensure that information is encrypted and transmitted to us in a secure and PCI-compliant manner (such as through the use of SSL).
